On Tour with the National Museum of Civil War Medicine at the Wilderness

COVID-19 and closures won’t stop us from sharing the incredible lessons we can learn from studying medical care during the Civil War!

On Thursday May 6, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Director of Interpretation Jake Wynn and staff from Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battlefields National Military Park will take virtual viewers to important medical sites on the Wilderness Battlefield for the Museum’s second edition of the “On Tour” series. Together they will highlight locations around the park related to medical care during and after the Battle of the Wilderness. To give the team time to move around the battlefield, there will be a few short breaks throughout the program.
