Antietam Battlefield Guide Kevin Pawlak Will Discuss Hartsuff’s Brigade
On Saturday July 2nd at 2:00 PM at the Pry House Field Hospital Museum Barn, Historian and Brigades of Antietam contributor Kevin Pawlak will present Hartstuff’s Brigade during our “Brigades of Antietam” speaker series sponsored by the Antietam Institute. Pawlak will discuss where the brigade fought, its commander, what constituted the unit, and how it performed in the campaign including the casualties sustained.
The presentation begins in the Pry Barn at 2:00 PM and is a pay-what-you-please event. There is a $3.00 suggested donation to tour the Pry House Field Hospital Museum. Members access events and tours for FREE.
The Pry House is open from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, from June 4 through October 29.

Kevin R. Pawlak is a Historic Site Manager for the Prince William County Office of Historic Preservation. He has been an Antietam Battlefield Guide since 2012. Kevin graduated as a History major from Shepherd University. He is the author of five books and several articles on the American Civil War, including To Hazard All: A Guide to the Maryland Campaign, 1862.
