Director of Education John Lustrea will talk with living historian Dr. Laurel Lipshutz about the life of Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, Union Civil War surgeon, women’s rights advocate, and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient.
Dr. Laurel Lipshutz completed her residency in psychiatry from Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1975. She is presently in full time private practice and is Professor of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
