Pry Presentation Image

On June 29 at 11:00 AM at the Pry House Field Hospital Museum, hear a first hand account from America’s bloodiest day.

Historian Carolyn Ivanoff will uncover the mystery of an unsigned diary of a Pennsylvania soldier from the Civil War. The presentation will chronicle the discovery of his identity and tell his story with period images and using his own words. From his enlistment in August 1862 to the Battle of Antietam the story of C.D.M. Broomhall of the 124th Pennsylvania Volunteers is truly remarkable.

The presentation begins in the Pry Barn at 11:00 and is pay-what-you-please. Admission to the Pry House is a suggested donation of $3.
