Director of Interpretation Jake Wynn will talk about medical care at the Battle of Cedar Mountain on the 159th anniversary of the battle. Among the many heroic doctors and nurses to care for the wounded in the aftermath was Clara Barton. Cedar Mountain marked the first time she witnessed amputations and other medical procedures up close. Mr. Wynn will also relate stories of other medical personnel in their quest to save as many lives as possible.
