“Commanders of Antietam” Speaker Series: Col. Harrison S. Fairchild

Historian and Author Joe Stahl will present on Col. Harrison S. Fairchild

On Saturday August 24 at 2:00 PM at the Pry House Field Hospital Museum barn, historian and Commanders of Antietam contributor Joe Stahl will discuss Colonel Harrison S. Fairchild during our “Commanders of Antietam” speaker series sponsored by the Antietam Institute.

The presentation begins in the Pry Barn at 2:00 PM and is a pay-what-you-please event. There is a $5.00 suggested donation to tour the Pry House Field Hospital Museum. Members access events and tours for FREE.

The Pry House is open from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, from June 1 through October 26. It is located at 18906 Shepherdstown Pike, Keedysville, MD 21756.

Joe Stahl became a volunteer and NPS Licensed Battlefield Guide at Antietam and Harpers Ferry after retirement. He grew up in St. Louis where he received BS and MS degrees from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Joe has coauthored three books and more than two dozen articles.
