Dying Soldier Poems and Public History in a Pandemic with Cameron Sauers

Education Coordinator John Lustrea will talk with Cameron Saurers about his writing for the Museum about Civil War dentistry and dying soldier poems. Additionally he will talk about what it was like to have a public history internship in the midst of a pandemic. Cameron Sauers is a student at Gettysburg College, where he is a History major with minors in Public History and Civil War Era studies. Cameron is a Fellow at the Civil War Institute and is currently Co-Editor in Chief of the Gettysburg College Journal of the Civil War Era.
