On Saturday September 7 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the Delaplaine Randall Conference Room at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, join us for a special living history event at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine featuring the Independent Greys.

Members of the Independent Greys will be at the museum throughout the day describing the impact of America’s bloodiest conflict on the lives of Marylanders who found themselves on the border between North and South. Dressed in Civil War-attire, the unit will explain the pivotal impact of the April 19th Baltimore Riot, the perspective of Marylanders who went South, and the challenges faced by the families who stayed behind.

This event is included with admission to the museum; Museum members get free admission

The Independent Greys are a Civil War living history organization dedicated to researching, teaching, preserving, and interacting with the public, and providing an accurate portrayal of soldiers and ladies from Maryland who sided with the Confederate States of America from 1861 to 1865.
