Learn how medicine in the Civil War and other conflicts added to the cost of war
Professor Fazal traces the history of medical treatment and casualty rates from the Civil War to the more recent counterinsurgency wars. As the wars became increasingly survivable, it becomes clear that there are human and financial implications that need to be explored to understand the true cost of war.
