Learn the often-overshadowed stories of how sailors and Marines faced the dangers of combat
Join us on Friday, January 7 at 1:00 PM on Facebook for a virtual program hosted by the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. You can tune in live by visiting www.Facebook.com/CivilWarMed/ at the scheduled time.
Membership and Development Coordinator Kyle Dalton and Director of Education John Lustrea will discuss the little-known experiences of sailors and Marines during the Civil War. The U.S. Navy was essential for victory in the Civil War, but suffered dramatically fewer casualties. Kyle and John will explore the reasons for that. Submit your questions in the chat during the livestream or send them in advance to john.lustrea@civilwarmed.321staging.com
