On Friday evening, April 28, the National Museum of Civil War Medicine will host its latest “After Hours” program.
From 7-9 PM, living historians, musicians, and museum volunteers will be on-site discussing Civil War camp life, performing musical pieces from the era, and talking about medicine in the Civil War era.
Members of the 14th Tennessee will be on hand to discuss camp life and the life of an average soldier in the Confederate army.
In an open house setting, visitors will experience a self-guided tour of the “most haunted building in Frederick” after the sun goes down.
Last admission will take place at 8:30 PM.
Standard ticket rates apply; the event is FREE for NMCWM members.
