Music at Pry: Evergreen Shade

Civil War music comes to life at the Pry House.

The musical duo known as Evergreen Shade will perform a Saturday afternoon concert on the Pry House grounds. Mrs. Robert Howard and Dr. John Tole will perform Civil War-era tunes that soldiers and civilians would have known and loved.

The Civil War was a sensory experience unlike any other in American history. The sights, sounds, tastes, and smells of the war imprinted themselves upon the witnesses to its terrible fury.
