Join Pry House Site Manager Rachel Moses at the Pry House to hear tales of the Civil War that are stranger than fiction.
Come to the Pry House Field Hospital Museum on October 21 at 4:00 PM for a special one-hour tour about the grisly, gross and ghoulish cases of Civil War Medicine. On this exclusive outdoor tour of the Pry House and grounds, visitors will hear ghastly true tales from the Civil War – stories of grave robbers, experimental surgery, battlefield horrors and more.
This will be a pay-what-you-please program.

Rachel Moses is the Site Manager for the Pry House Field Hospital Museum. She received her M.A. in History and Museum Studies from Youngstown State University in Ohio. She most recently worked as an Education Specialist for the West Virginia State Museum in Charleston, WV from 2011 to 2018.
